Project Manager, Chris White of Stantec, will give a walking tour of a portion of an area along Lake Michigan’s shoreline where native plants were planted over the last couple of years. Chris will explain the ecological benefit of the project, how it was implemented, and explain the maintenance involved in getting the plants established as well as identify some of the plants that were planted as seeds and as plugs. We can enjoy the park for a bit afterwards. Bring your own beverage & snacks.
