Whitney Yoerger connects people to Indiana’s birds and conservation through programs and online resources. She is a curious writer and communications professional with a Master of Arts in nonprofit administration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her birding story began in 2014 during a long weekend at the Kiptopeke Hawkwatch in Virginia, where she watched migrating hawks with borrowed binoculars. Whitney is passionate about mindful birding practices, acoustic ecology, and animal behavior.
