Join local Dragonfly lover, Loyce Fandrei, at Oak Ridge Prairie on June 6, 2026 for a dragonfly hunt around the big pond at Oak Ridge Prairie in Griffith. This is a follow-up program for those of you who saw her PowerPoint presentation this past November, or a great time to introduce yourself to these beautiful insects. June is a good time to see early dragonflies so we hope to see you there. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
Follow the road all the way to the parking lot at the back of the property. Tell the gate attendant that you’re with Wild Ones. We will start walking at 10:00am.
** Bring your own drink, and a bagged lunch if you want to hang out afterwards. We’ll find a place to sit & enjoy the park. **
